Mother's Day

 For Mother's Day this year, the kids each made a small cake and decorated it for Sarah.  They each decorated their own and were very proud of it.

That morning, Jacob made me wake him up early.  He wanted to be the first one awake so that he could make Sarah breakfast for Mother's Day.  He helped make her eggs and sausage and toast.  Meagan sang to her when she woke up.  Jacob made this at school for mommy as well.  He was an incredibly thoughtful and dutiful son for Mother's day and mommy appreciated it a lot.

For dinner, I made one of her favorite meals that we hadn't made in a long time - Waldorf Astoria Stew.  We had our friends over to share it and played some games to round out the evening.
